About
NBC's flagship firefighter drama, now in its 14th season (premiered October 2025), continues to film on location throughout Chicago. The show uses a real working Chicago Fire Department firehouse -- Engine 18 at 1360 South Blue Island Avenue at Maxwell Street -- for exterior shots of Firehouse 51, making it one of the few network dramas to film at an active emergency services building. Interior firehouse scenes are shot at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios, the massive production complex that also hosts The Bear and Chicago P.D. The beloved neighborhood bar Molly's is filmed at the real Lottie's Pub. Chicago Fire anchors the One Chicago franchise alongside Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med, all filming simultaneously across the city and making Chicago one of television's busiest production cities.
