Chicago P.D. follows the Intelligence Unit of the fictional 21st District in Dick Wolf's One Chicago franchise. Now in its thirteenth season on NBC, the show films entirely in Chicago. The UIC Police Station at 943 W. Maxwell Street serves as the exterior for the 21st District headquarters. Interior sets are built at Cinespace Studios at 2621 W. 15th Place. The White Palace Grill at 1159 S. Canal Street appears as a recurring diner where characters gather. Season 12 filmed from July 2024 through April 2025. The series has been a staple of NBC's lineup since 2014, with Jason Beghe starring as Sergeant Hank Voight. The Intelligence Unit operates out of a caged upstairs bullpen, one of TV's most recognizable police sets. Fans can visit the Maxwell Street station exterior and grab a meal at the real White Palace Grill on Canal Street.
