Watson reimagines Arthur Conan Doyle's Dr. John Watson as a modern-day medical investigator, played by Morris Chestnut. The CBS series premiered January 26, 2025 and was quickly renewed for a second season, which began airing October 13, 2025. Though set in Pittsburgh, Watson films primarily at The Bridge Studios and the University of British Columbia campus in Vancouver. Select exterior scenes are shot on location in Pittsburgh for authenticity. Created by Craig Sweeny, the series follows Watson as he opens a clinic treating rare medical cases while grappling with the apparent death of his friend Sherlock Holmes.
