About
Netflix's live-action Scooby-Doo series is a modern reimagining of the iconic Mystery Inc. gang, set during their final summer at camp. The 8-episode series, created by Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg with Greg Berlanti executive producing, follows old friends Shaggy and Daphne as they investigate a supernatural mystery involving a lost Great Dane puppy. Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters: Afterlife) has been cast as Daphne Blake, and Frank Welker -- who has voiced Scooby-Doo since 2002 and Fred Jones since 1969 -- returns to voice Scooby. Production is scheduled to begin in April 2026 at studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Showrunner Scott Rosenberg has been location scouting in Atlanta and nearby Madison, Georgia. Netflix frequently uses Cinespace Studios Atlanta for major productions. The series is expected to debut in 2027.
