Scrubs

The beloved medical comedy Scrubs returns after a 15-year absence with a ninth season (officially the show's tenth season, following the divisive Season 9 in 2009-10) that reunites the original Sacred Heart crew. Zach Braff reprises his role as Dr. John "JD" Dorian and directs the opening episode, with Donald Faison returning as Dr. Chris Turk, Sarah Chalke as Dr. Elliot Reid, John C. McGinley as the acerbic Dr. Perry Cox, and Judy Reyes as Nurse Carla Espinosa. The revival also introduces a new generation: Vanessa Bayer as Sibby (who runs a wellness program for Sacred Heart staff), Joel Kim Booster as attending physician Dr. Eric Park, and interns played by Ava Bunn, Jacob Dudman, David Gridley, Layla Mohammadi, and Amanda Morrow. Production took place at Whites Studios Copperwood in Richmond, British Columbia -- a 106,000-square-foot full-service facility at 12211 Horseshoe Way featuring three large sound stages, mill shop, and paint shop. Filming ran from October 6 to December 19, 2025, with showrunners Tim Hobert and Aseem Batra overseeing the nine-episode season. Guest stars include Robert Maschio reprising Dr. Todd "The Todd" Quinlan and Phil Lewis as "Crazy" Hooch. The revival premieres February 25, 2026, on ABC with back-to-back episodes, streaming the following day on Hulu.
